Description

Nea Agathoupoli is a wonderful site, with great numbers of a lot of interesting birds. One of those places where you feel that there is to much to see to handle.

From the observation tower you have a good view of the delta and the lagoons with sometimes big amounts of (Ευρωπαϊκός) Μικροτσικνιάς, (Ευρασιατικός) Ήταυρος, (Ξανθός) Κρυπτοτσικνιάς, (Κοινός) Νυχτοκόρακας, Πορφυροτσικνιάς, (Ευρασιατική) Χαλκόκοτα and a lot of ducks and (Ευρωπαϊκη) Βαλτόπαπια. In the surrounding area (Ευρωπαϊκός) Συκοφάγος, Κοκκινοκεφαλάς and Γελογλάρονο can be seen.
