Description

The Leipzig Wildlife Park is a zoo on the southern outskirts of Leipzig. It is surrounded by the Leipzig Auenwald floodplain forest with a lot of streams and beautiful paths. Especially woodpeckers can be often observed while visiting the Wildlife Park and its surroundings.

Access

The Leipzig Wildlife Park is located on the southern outskirts of Leipzig in the Connewitz district. You can explore the area by using a bike or go by public transport to Connewitzer Kreuz (tram lines 9, 10 and 11) and from there it is a 5 minute walk. There is a paid parking lot directly in front of the wildlife park. Click on the P in the map for directions. Opening hours: 16 March to 30 October from 09.00 to 19.00, last entry 18.00. 1 November to 15 March from 09.00 to 17.00, last entry 16.00.
