Description
The lakes of Steiner Seen are open to the public. On the largest of the three lakes there is a small island where you can observe ducks such as Πρασινοκέφαλη Πάπια and Μαυροκέφαλη Πάπια. The area is partially surrounded by a small reed belt where songbirds such as Σχοινοποταμίδα can be observed.
(Ευρωπαϊκή) Αλκυόνη, Χηνοπρίστης and Αρκοπετείναρο can also be seen here regularly.

Access
The Steiner Seen are located directly southeast of Stein am Kocher. There is a parking lot in front of the ponds. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. The lakes can then be walked around (about 1,2 km).
