The village of Norddeich is located on the Wadden Sea. From the dike you have a beautiful overview of the mudflats. (Ευρωπαϊκός) Στρειδοφάγος, Βαρβάρα, Κοκκινοσκέλης, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Αβοκέτα and many other birds are present. During migration some birds like Λασποσκαλίδρα can be seen here in large flocks.
