Nature reserve Letter Bruch is of great importance as a breeding and foraging habitat for many meadow birds. About 3-5 pairs of (Ευρασιατική) Τουρλίδα breed here. Also a breeding ground for (Ευρωπαϊκή) Καλημάνα and Μαυρολαίμης. Among the other birds you can observe in the area are (Κοινό) Ορτύκι, Καμπίσια Πέρδικα, Λευκός Πελαργός, Καλαμόκιρκος, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Κουκουβάγια, Αετομάχος, (Κοινό) Αηδόνι, Καστανολαίμης and Κιτρινοσουσουράδα.
