The Honigberg is a hill with nice mixed forest next to a large reservoir in the river Rur. In the forest you will find birds such as Μαύρος Δρυοκολάπτης, along the Friedenbach stream Σταχτοσουσουράδα and in the sky birds of prey soar such as Ψαλιδιάρης and Τσίφτης.

Access
Honigberg am Rur is located directly east of the village of Rurberg. You can park in Rurberg at the P (paid parking). From the parking lot you can explore the forest on foot. The circular walk shown on the map is about 5 km.
