The open landscape is good for a variety of species like Αετομάχος, Τσιφτάς, Μαυρολαίμης, (Κοινή) Σιταρήθρα and sometimes Δεντροσταρήθρα. All species can sometimes be seen posting on the airport fence. The woodland hold (Ευρωπαϊκός) Συκοφάγος and sometimes Στραβολαίμης.
