Description
The Baddeckenstedt Teiche are ponds that are located in the nature reserve Mittleres Innerstetal, about 6 km east of the Derneburg ponds. Numerous waterfowl breed here, including around 15 pairs of (Κοκκινόλαιμο) Νανοβουτηχτάρι , 1-2 pairs of Μαυροβουτηχτάρι and, for the first time in 2010, a pair of Κοκκινοβουτηχτάρι. Occasionally, Σκουφοβουτηχτάρι also breed. In addition to Πρασινοκέφαλη Πάπια and (Βουβός) Κύκνος, Μαυροκέφαλη Πάπια, Γκισάρι and Καπακλής are at home here.
