The observation areas along Cayenne's coastline offer the chance to encounter several rare, and common, migratory species. In addition to La Poudrière, several other locations are worth exploring: Pointe Buzaré, Anse de Chaton, Pointe Saint-François, Fort Cépérou and Pointe des Amandiers.

Access to these different observation sites along Cayenne's coastline is by car or on foot. To access La Poudrière, you can park at the Place des Amandiers and take the path behind the prefecture.
