Great birding right next to the Normandy Bridge with small paths that wind through the marshes of the Seine estuary.
The Seine estuary is one of the three largest estuaries in France, together with the Loire and the Gironde. The Réserve Naturelle de l'Estuaire de la Seine is a vast wetland near Le Havre of almost 10,000 hectares, which shelters a set of typical and remarkable environments on a European scale - subtidal environments, mud flats, salt meadows, ponds, reed beds, wet meadows - at the interface between land and sea. A paradise for birds. A part of the estuary that is very easy accessible for birders is the area along the Normandy Bridge. Among the birds you can see here are Μουστακαλής, Σταχτοπετρόκλης, Γαλαζολαίμης, Βραχοκιρκίνεζο, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Κούκος, Λιβαδοκελάδα and Χειμωνόκιρκος.

You can park at the rest area of the Normandy bridge (Pont the Normandie). Click on the P on the map to get directions. There is a visitor center (see the link below) and you can walk on both sides of the bridge and on small paths that wind through the marsh. Bring boots in wet weather.
