Description
The Garonne - Ariège Confluence Nature Reserve is rich in biodiversity. The nature reserve covers an area of 579 ha along the Garonne and Ariège rivers. The mix of woods, wetlands, cliffs and agricultural areas offers a diversity of landscapes and a mosaic of natural environments. This attracts a large number of animal and plant species.
The park described here is one of the parts of the reserve easily accessible to visitors and is the closest to Toulouse.
At least 143 bird species a few minutes from Toulouse. Among the birds that can be seen here are (Κοινός) Νυχτοκόρακας, Πορφυροτσικνιάς, Γερακαετός, Δεντρογέρακο, Τσίφτης and (Ευρωπαϊκός) Συκοφάγος.

From Toulouse ring road take the D4 Road to Lacroix-Falgarde. Park entrance on the right hand side 7 km away.
