Marais de Fretin is a nice wetland with a great variety of birds. Among the birds you can encounter in the area are (Ευρωπαϊκός) Κορμοράνος , Σταχτοτσικνιάς , Γελαδάρης , (Κοκκινόλαιμο) Νανοβουτηχτάρι , Σκουφοβουτηχτάρι, and if you are lucky you can even observe (Ευρωπαϊκή) Αλκυόνη and many other species.

Marais de Fretin is located southeast of the city of Lille. You can park in the village of Fretin and explore the wetland from there on foot. Press P in the map for directions to the parking. The circular walk around the wetland is about 2 km.
