Description
Les Orpellières is a very varied area. In a few hours you can walk from a river area, to a rough dry agricultural area, to a dune area and to the sea. Many species of birds can be seen, such as Ωχροκελάδα, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Φοινικόπτερο and Τσαλαπετεινός, but also many species of gulls, including rare species such as Λεπτόραμφος Γλάρος. Κισσόκουκος can also be seen here regularly.

Access
Les Orpellières is located directly east of Valras-Plage, but on the other side of the river Orb. Parking in the vicinity of 'Yelloh la Serignan plage' or in the area itself. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 5,5 km. Take enough water with you as it can be very hot.
