Description
Lac de Villegusien is easily accessible. There are small campsites around the lake. Parking is possible at various places around the lake. Also as a short stop on the way to the south, this is a nice stopover where you can walk around the lake in about an hour and a half. Above the lake you can often see Μαυρογλάρονο. On the lake you can observe many water birds, such as Γκισάρι, Μαυροκέφαλη Πάπια and (Κοκκινόλαιμο) Νανοβουτηχτάρι. On the north side of the lake there is a beautiful bird hide. (Κοινός) Λευκοτσικνιάς, (Κοινός) Νυχτοκόρακας and Γελαδάρης can often be seen here. Around the entire lake, you can hear an abundance of beautifully singing (Κοινό) Αηδόνι. On the south side of the lake you can often see Τσαλαπετεινός.

Lac de Villegusien is located 15 km south of Langres, near the village of Villegusien-du-Lac. Parking around the lake, various possibilities, press a P on the map for directions to a parking spot. The circular walk around the lake is approximately 8 km.
