Font d'Urle is a limestone plateau with windswept grasslands and bordered by impressive cliffs. A remarkable site from a geological point of view with caves, cliffs, vertical shafts and glaciers. Font d'Urle is protected as a sensitive Natural Area and has a rich birdlife. Birds you can observe include Όρνιο, Βραχοκιρκίνεζο, Κιτρινοκαλιακούδα, Κοκκινοκαλιακούδα, (Κοινή) Σιταρήθρα, Καρβουνιάρης, Βουνοσταχτάρα and Σταχτοπετρόκλης.

Access
Font d’Urle is located in the Drôme department, within the Vercors Regional Natural Park. You can reach Font d'Urle by car via the Station de Font d’Urle, which serves as the main access point to the plateau. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. There are several marked walking trails you can follow. The circular walking route shown on the map is about 7,5 km.
