Description
This large pond is home to nice nesting species as (Ευρασιατικό) Φερεντίνι, Γκισάρι, Μαυροκέφαλη Πάπια, Καπακλής, Σχοινοποταμίδα, Πορφυροτσικνιάς. In the surrounding bocage, Αετομάχος, Δεντροσταρήθρα,Λιβαδόκιρκος are also nesting.
In winter, the pond can be hosting (Ευρωπαϊκό) Κιρκίρι, Γκισάρι, Μαυροκέφαλη Πάπια, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Σφυριχτάρι and several vagrants. The place is also really great in times of migration with lots of passerines in the hedgerows and waterfowl on the pond.
