Crozet is a good observation area for bird species in the forest like Αγριόκουρκος, Λυροπετεινός, Δασόκοτα, forest birds like woodpeckers and (Κοινός) Σταυρομύτης, and many passerine species like Δασοφυλλοσκόπος, Θαμνοφυλλοσκόπος, Μαυροσκούφης, Χρυσοβασιλίσκος, Τρυποφράχτης. In the more open areas you can find raptors like Πετρίτης, Σπουργιτόγλαυκα, (Κοινή) Γερακίνα, (Κοινό) Ξεφτέρι, Διπλοσάϊνο, Χρυσαετός and also Αετομάχος.

Access
Park at the Crozet gondola. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking. You can take the gondola up, but you can also start your walk from the parking. There are various paths to choose from. The circular route you see on the map is about 12 km long.
