Description
The Rhine is used as wintering area by waterbirds such as Γκισάρι, Μαυροκέφαλη Πάπια, and a few gulls. Πετρίτης is often seen hunting or perched on the buildings in the industrial area nearby. (Ευρωπαϊκη) Βαλτόπαπια and Χηνοπρίστης can also be found. A few scarcities have been seen here, mostly in winter but also in migration period such as Λαγγόνα, Χιονόπαπια or Βελουδόπαπια.

Access
From the A35, use the Saint-Louis exit and head towards Weil am Rhein in Germany. Follow the signs for the restaurant La Piste du Rhin and park there.
You can discover the area by foot or bike.
