The Evijärvi bird tower is an excellent base for bird watching. The wetlands around the tower attract many bird species and sometimes rarities. Among the birds you can observe are Μαυρογλάρονο, Ποταμογλάρονο, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Βουκεφάλα, Κοκκινοβουτηχτάρι, (Ευρασιατικός) Ήταυρος, Σχοινοποταμίδα, (Μεγάλο) Καλαμοτσίχλονο, Αγριόκυκνος, Καλαμόκιρκος and (Ευρωπαϊκός) Γερανός.

Access
Drive about 1 km from the center of Evijärvi in the direction of Vetel and turn according to the signs to the bird tower. The car is parked in the parking lot of the wastewater treatment plant , from where you can walk about half a kilometer to the bird tower. Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking.
