Sandkule Skov is a lush forest area. Thanks to a man named Horst Boedler the (Ευρωπαϊκή) Αλκυόνη made a big comeback around Tørning Mølle. He builds nesting boxes and so far there are 8 pairs breeding in the area. (Ευρωπαϊκός) Νεροκότσυφας and Σταχτοσουσουράδα are also seen.
