Description

Lyngby Sø covers about 57 hectares and is part of the Mølleåen river system. It is the smallest of the four lakes that are located on Mølleåen. Lyngby Sø is connected to the adjacent lake Bagsværd Sø (also described on Birdingplaces). Thanks to the variety of waterfowl like (Βουβός) Κύκνος , (Ευρωπαϊκή) Βουκεφάλα , Μαυροκέφαλη Πάπια , Σκουφοβουτηχτάρι and migratory birds that stop here, the lake is interesting for birdwatching. In the reedbeds around the lake you can also see many birds (Μεγάλο) Καλαμοτσίχλονο , Καλαμοποταμίδα , Τσιχλοποταμίδα .
