Description
Lake Tempelkrog is the best birding spot near Holbæk. Always lots of ducks, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Σφυριχτάρι, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Κιρκίρι, Μαυροκέφαλη Πάπια, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Βουκεφάλα, (Ευρασιατική) Χουλιαρόπαπια and grebes. Μαυροβουτηχτάρι breeds here. During the spring and summer there are also many waders. In the reeds by the lake you can among others, see Καλαμοποταμίδα, Βαλτοποταμίδα and (Μεγάλο) Καλαμοτσίχλονο. You will always find birds here. There is a 4 km long path around the lake (see map), and sometimes you can get quite close to the birds.

Access
Lake Tempelkrog is located 10 km southeast of Holbæk. You can park by Ågerup School, where there always is parking available. Press P on the map for directions. From the parking you can walk down to the lake (800 m), and come down to the path around the lake which is 4 km.
