The Los Acuaticos walk offers, next to the abundance of endemic forest birds, a beautiful view on the Palmarito-valley and the area around Viñales. Cuban Solitaire, warblers and many endemics can be found here easily. The birds aren't shy and can be observed quite good.

Access
The start of the sendero can't be reached by car, so you have to park a near the Prehistoric Mural or ask the local residents to park near their houses. Also there are no signs that show what is the sendero and what is a path for the farmers. The easiest way is book a guide, or a lot of patience and communication skills if you enter private land.
