The town of Baška is located on the island of KRK. It is a very beautiful area. The coastal strip has beaches, hiking trails, rocks, and vegetated areas. Various gulls can be seen in this strip, such as Ασημόγλαρος της Μεσογείου. You can often see Όρνιο. Other birds of prey can also be found here, such as Φιδαετός. If you walk from the beach onto the rocky paths, with a bit of luck you can find Πυροκότσυφας. Abundant in the area is (Ευρωπαϊκός) Θαλασσοκόρακας and actually impossible to miss.
