Description

Elenite holiday village is situated in a quiet bay with a large beach on the southern slope of the easternmost Balkan Mountain range. Directly behind the resort the wooded hills start. Migrating birds like (Ευρωπαϊκός) Μελισσοφάγος and Λευκός Πελαργός can be seen in August. More seldom Τσαλαπετεινός, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Χαλκοκουρούνα and Μαύρος Δρυοκολάπτης. Breeding birds in the area are (Ευρωπαϊκός) Συκοφάγος, Σιρλοτσίχλονο, Πράσινος Δρυοκολάπτης, (Κοινό) Αηδόνι, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Τρυγόνι, Κλειδωνάς, Αετομάχος, Κοκκινοκεφαλάς,Βαλκανικός Δρυοκολάπτης, Βουνοσταχτάρα and Ασημόγλαρος της Μεσογείου.
