Description
Gradski Park Bihać is located along the fast flowing mountain river Una. In the winter there are hundreds of ducks, mainly Πρασινοκέφαλη Πάπια. Some other duck species can be seen like Καπακλής, Ψαλίδα (του Βορά) and (Ευρωπαϊκό) Κιρκίρι. In the trees there are common birds like Καλόγερος, Γαλαζοπαπαδίτσα and Πευκοδρυοκολάπτης. In spring other birds can be seen in nearby trees at the park migrating back to the mountains above. Also at the park in spring you can see Μαυροσκούφης, (Κοινός) Σπίνος and some other species. During the breeding season, outside the city you can see (Ευρωπαϊκός) Νεροκότσυφας and Χηνοπρίστης who nest nearby. Also other species like Λευκός Πελαργός, Σταχτοτσικνιάς and (Κοινή) Γερακίνα.
