The hamlet of Bajovci is located at the foot of the densely wooded slopes of the Svitavsko Lake. The lake with its open water and reed beds attracts many birds and the wooded slopes are home to many woodpeckers and birds of prey. Among the birds you can encounter in the area are (Ευρωπαϊκη) Βαλτόπαπια, (Ευρασιατικό) Φερεντίνι, Πορφυροτσικνιάς, (Ξανθός) Κρυπτοτσικνιάς, Δενδροχελίδονο, Λαγγόνα, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Συκοφάγος, Αετομάχος, Τσιχλοποταμίδα, Φιδαετός, Καλαμόκιρκος, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Μελισσοφάγος and no less than eight species of woodpeckers.
