The polders van Kruibeke is a varied landscape of mud flats and salt marshes, alder brook forest and meadows.
Ducks an geese like Barnacle Goose , Σταχτόχηνα , Βαρβάρα , (Ευρασιατική) Χουλιαρόπαπια and (Ευρωπαϊκό) Κιρκίρι but also a lot of (Ευρωπαϊκή) Αλκυόνη can be seen on the meadow and creeks all year around, roe deers are also often seen on the meadows.

Access
There is a boat from Hoboken and Hemiksem that goes to Kruibeke for free, you can go by bike and on foot on the boat. You can also go with the car to the parking. The route you see on the map is about 16 km.
