Description
Mixed forest with some old beech lanes. Woodpeckers like Μαύρος Δρυοκολάπτης and Νανοδρυοκολάπτης breed here as well as Διπλοσάϊνο and other birds of prey. In spring you may experience a real concert of song birds: warblers, thrushes, tits, Μαυρομυγοχάφτης and Χρυσοβασιλίσκος, while in winter, there's different species of finches and if you're lucky you may see an (Ευρασιατική) Μπεκάτσα hiding beneath the bushes or gulls, Δεντροσταρήθρα and Μαυρολαίμης on the surrounding fields.

Ideally done by foot, especially the smaller paths that are very interesting. The bigger roads are also ideal for cycling. You can park your car next to the crucifix in the Veldkruisstraat.
