Erholungsgebiet Wienerberg has different habitats that attract birds. Numerous garden bird species such as Αιγίθαλος, (Κοινός) Πύρρουλας and (Ευρωπαϊκός) Κοκκοθραύστης can be seen. But also water birds like (Ευρωπαϊκός) Κορμοράνος, Καστανοκέφαλος Γλάρος, Σκουφοβουτηχτάρι, (Κοινή) Φαλαρίδα, and Σταχτοτσικνιάς. If you're lucky, you might also see (Κοινό) Ξεφτέρι or (Κοινή) Γερακίνα.
