Donaukraftwerk Wilhering-Ottensheim is a power plant on the river Danube. Especially during migration season, migratory birds, including rare species, are frequently found here. The combination of riparian forest, large meadows and arable land, the river Danube with its shallow banks and small streams makes the area a habitat and resting place for many different bird species.

Donaukraftwerk Wilhering-Ottensheim is located south of the town of Ottensheim. There is ample parking directly at the power plant. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. From the parking area the site can be easily explored on foot or by bicycle. The total length of the route shown on the map is about 12 km (out and back).
