Description

Michael Eades Reserve is a small bush reserve that takes about two hours to walk around the many trails. Over 70 species of birds with special mention of regular Red-browed Treecreeper residents, Beautiful Firetail and Gang-gang Cockatoo. Also present nesting every Summer are Leaden Flycatcher and regularly see flying over the migratory White-throated Needletail. A suburban reserve known only to locals and near by the far more popular Minihaha falls.

Access

Michael Eades Reserve is located north of the town of Katoomba. Drive to Second avenue. No vehicles in the reserve. Clear small areas to park. Click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates.
