Beschreibung
In summer 2015, young Bartgeier were reintroduced into the wild for the first time on Melchsee-Frutt in the Hengliboden area in central Switzerland. Since then, every summer a Bartgeier has been released into the wild on Melchsee-Frutt. You can observe the birds around the Hengliboden information stand. Of course you can see many other alpine birds in the area like Alpendohle, Schneesperling, Alpenbraunelle and Steinadler.

Zugang
Walk from the parking in Melchsee-Frutt to Tannalp in about 1 hour 15 min (alternative Fruttli train) and from Tannalp you can walk to the info booth Hengliboden in about 35 min.
