Beschreibung
The position of Visingsö makes it an excellent spot for watching the migration passing through Lake Vättern. From the island migrating waders, gulls and terns can be seen. The fields on Visingsö are large and often hold large groups of Star, Feldlerche, pipits, and crows. Large birds like geese and Kranich also often feed on fields.
The wetland of Erstadkärret is often filled to the brim with waders (most arctic waders are common during migration), dabbling ducks, gruiformes, and geese. At Norra Udden, and Sandudden waders, grebes, loons and diving ducks. In the forests large amounts of passerine birds can be found.
