In Muskmyr nature reserve birds of prey are often seen. Even rare ones like Rotfußfalke in spring and summer. There is a bird observation tower from where you can search the sky above the horizon for Seeadler and Steinadler. Rohrweihe nest in the bog and Baumfalke are often seen catching dragonflies over the reeds. Along the hiking trail that leads around the bog there are many beautiful and special plants including a wide variety of orchids. Among the other birds you can see are Karmingimpel, Rotmilan, Goldregenpfeifer, Kornweihe, Kranich, Braunkehlchen, Steinschmätzer and Großer Brachvogel.
