In spring and summer Lövstaslätten is a good place to see many birds of prey like Wiesenweihe, Kornweihe, Rotmilan and Seeadler. Even very rare species like Steppenweihe and Schwarzmilan have been seen here.
In autumn many migrating birds pass through here like Goldregenpfeifer and rarities like Spornpieper and Mornellregenpfeifer have been seen. Schneeammer and Berghänfling spend there winters here.

Lövstaslätten is vast and one can birdwatch anywhere, the area marked on the map is located just south-east of Uppsala outside of a village called Danmark and just one kilometer from Linnés Hammarby, where one can find a bigger parking lot. Parking is otherwise tricky and not intended. You can get here by both car and bike. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that spot.
