Sierra Espuña is mainly a forest area, although due to its mountain condition the terrain is also mountainous. The proposed route is in the heart of this mountain range, crossing different ecosystems that will allow us to see a great variety of birds in a short journey. Birds such as Steinadler, Buntspecht, Eichelhäher, Sommergoldhähnchen or Fichtenkreuzschnabel stand out among other species.

Espagnol: Sierra Espuña es un macizo montañoso en la Region de Murcia, es parque regional y además es ZEPA debido a la presencia de especies como el Steinadler. Se trata de un area fundamentalmente forestal, aunque debido a su condición de sierra también es montañoso el terreno. La ruta propuesta es en él corazón de esta sierra, atravesando distintos ecosistemas que nos permitirán ver una gran variedad de aves en un corto recorrido. Destacan aves como Steinadler , Buntspecht , Eichelhäher , Sommergoldhähnchen o Fichtenkreuzschnabel entre otras especies.

Access to the place is by road. You can park in a recreational area, which coincides with the same restaurant located where the parking is located. The area is ideal to explore on foot, following the properly marked paths.
