The avifauna present in the riverbed of the Río Segura is mainly made up of colonies of herons, Kormoran and Eisvogel in winter, other aquatic birds remain to a greater or lesser extent throughout the year, being able to see Bläßhuhn, Teichhuhn, Zwergtaucher and Stockente. But also birds like Pirol, Mauersegler, Bienenfresser and Samtkopf-Grasmücke.
