Beschreibung
The small Puebla campsite is situated on the Embalse de José Torán. This reservoir is located on the bird migration route to Tarifa. As spring progresses, a large part of the reservoir dries up, allowing you to make beautiful walks inside the reservoir. Especially during the autumn migration the (empty) reservoir is visited by hundreds of Sandregenpfeifer and Flußregenpfeifer, 3 species of Wiesenschafstelze, countless Rötelschwalbe, as well as Felsenschwalbe, Mehlschwalbe, Uferschwalbe and Rauchschwalbe. Wiedehopf can be seen in large numbers. Gleitaar hunts every day, often with 2 or 3 individuals.
In spring and summer the campsite has breeding Neuntöter, Hausrotschwanz, Gartenrotschwanz, Trauerschnäpper, Grauschnäpper, Iberienraubwürger, Weidensperling, 4 species of tits, Buntspecht, Kleinspecht and Grünspecht. The Spanischer Kaiseradler and Gänsegeier breed in the vicinity of the campsite. Schlangenadler, Zwergadler and Fischadler are also frequently seen, as are Schwarzmilan and Rotmilan.
Located between Seville and Cordoba, the small campsite is an excellent place to stay surrounded by nature. There are a huge variety of birds to spot on and around the campsite. If you stay for a few days, you can easily see 80 species of birds up close.
