The Playa de Los Lances is a mosaic of coastal habitats (sea, beach, dune, lagoon, salt meadows) located just before the Strait of Gibraltar for West Atlantic migrants crossing Europe to and from Africa. It will therefore be possible to observe a very wide diversity of species composed of migratory birds (raptors, shorebirds, passerines, seabirds) as well as coastal nesting birds (pipits, larks). It is also one of the best spots to watch Zwergseeschwalbe.
