Parque Periurbano Almaraz is on the outskirts of the town of Almaraz and borders on the one hand with the Arrocampo reservoir and on the other it is a meadow of holm oaks, so you can see typical birds of humid areas and on the other hand of dehesa habitat. Among the birds you can see are Bläßhuhn, Kormoran, Seidenreiher, Silberreiher, Rallenreiher, Purpurreiher, Zwergdommel, Zwergtaucher, Teichhuhn, Löffler, Fischadler, Haubentaucher, Purpurhuhn, Gleitaar and Bienenfresser.
