Beschreibung
Parque Forestal Valdebebas - Felipe IV consists of a young forest of native vegetation, though an area to the south does have older trees. Most of the area is dominated by stone pines, which hold all of the common birds of the area. The park has several streams and and two small lakes. These attract birds such as Gebirgsstelze, Beutelmeise, Wasserralle (uncommon), Eisvogel and sometimes Rostgans. Some other ducks, like Schnatterente, might occasionally show up. Waders, such as Waldwasserläufer can also appear. There have been records of Triel. During winter, the top part of the park is very good for Rotdrossel, with Wacholderdrossel also being present. Some raptors like Mönchsgeier might fly over, but this isn't a good spot for them. Steinkauz is present, however, the park is closed at night, making other owl species sightings scarce. Kranich might ocassionally fly over during winter.
