Majal Blanco is an area of interest for the observation of forest birds, passerines and raptors. Among the birds you can see here are Tannenmeise, Mönchsgrasmücke, Samtkopf-Grasmücke, Zwergadler, Schlangenadler, Sperber, Haubenmeise, Provencegrasmücke, Hausrotschwanz, Schwanzmeise, Felsenschwalbe, Rothuhn, Bienenfresser, Rothals-Ziegenmelker, Uhu, Kuckuck and Pirol.

The area is accessed from the Torreguil urbanization located at the exit of the town of Sangonera la Verde, following the Carretera de Mazarrón. Once the Torreguill urbanization is accessed, it is advisable to go to the Plaza de las Moreras, where there is a parking lot to leave the car, and from here several of the marked trails that run through the El Majal Blanco Municipal Park begin (on holidays there is a Information point open in the Plaza de las Moreras). On the Birdingplaces-map you can see a walking route of 15 km through the area. But you can choose of many shorter walks also.

Espagnol: Se accede desde la urbanización Torreguil sitiuada en la salida de la población de Sangonera la Verde siguiendo la Carretera de Mazarrón. Una vez se accede a la urbanización Torreguill es recomendable llegar hasta la plaza de las Moreras, donde hay un aparcamiento para dejar el coche, y desde aquí se inician varios de los senderos marcados que recorren el Parque Municipal El Majal Blanco (los festivos hay un punto de información abierto en la misma plaza de las Moreras). En el mapa de Birdingplaces a continuación puede ver una ruta a pie de 15 km a través de la zona. Pero también puede elegir entre muchos paseos más cortos.
