Magarola is a very good point for autumn migration, with more than 30 years of monitoring. Outside of the migratory season, it is a relatively good place to see forest birds, and also raptors that breed in the area, thanks to its 360-degree views. Among the birds you can see are Mäusebussard, Grünspecht, Tannenmeise, Haubenmeise, ,Fischadler, Zwergadler, Rohrweihe, Sperber, Wanderfalke, Eleonorenfalke, Baumfalke, Wespenbussard, Schlangenadler, Turmfalke, Habicht, Buntspecht and Sonnenvogel.

Fuera de la época migratoria, es un enclabe relativamente bueno para ver aves forestales, y tambien rapaces que crian en la zona, gracias a sus vistas de 360 grados.
