The setting of this site is incredible; from the promenade of the Western-like village of El Rocio you overlook a lush lagoon (if the lagoon holds water, if not, this site is not interesting). You may see all interesting species of the park at this lagoon. On a regular day the lagoon is littered with Rosaflamingo and the vegetation in and around the lake hold Rallenreiher, Purpurhuhn and Zwergdommel. Lastly Rotflügel-Brachschwalbe is another attraction here. At dusk, red- and fallow deer graze on the opposite side of the water.

The lagoon is not to be missed, it is located on the south of the town of El Rocio.
