The area of Llanos de Calera y Chozas is good for steppe birds. In my case, I walk the road between Calera y Chozas and Puente del Arzobispo at dawn. I leave the car at the lane entrances. From there you can scan the area with the telescope. You can find Großtrappe and Zwergtrappe. Along with these birds Spießflughuhn, Triel and Kalanderlerche. Various raptors and other more frequent birds. See the birdlist below.
