The Lagunas de Corral-Rubio are home to a wide variety of aquatic birds and has a good population of steppe birds in nearby areas. Among the birds you can encounter are, depending on the season, Großtrappe, Kranich, Kolbenente, Weißkopf-Ruderente, Rosaflamingo, Spießflughuhn and Sandflughuhn. Keep in mind that these are seasonal lagoons and that they are sometimes almost or completely dry.

The lagoons are easy accessible from the village of Corral-Rubio. Click on the P in the map for directions. To see steppe birds it is advisable to take a car tour between the lagoons and through the surrounding area.
