Laguna del Toro is a quiet and secluded place. If you travel on the highway you can take a break here and do some nice birding. Another way to access the lagoon is through the small town of Nueva Jarilla, along a dirt road. Among the birds you can see here are Bläßhuhn, Teichhuhn, Rotflügel-Brachschwalbe, Lachseeschwalbe, Tafelente, Haubenlerche, Mittelmeermöwe, Zwergtaucher, Türkentaube, Turteltaube, Graureiher, Sichler, Flußregenpfeifer.
