Easy hike of 2 km on a dirt road from the chapel of Ermita de la Pietat to the Bassa de la Ermita pond. Through uninhabited fallow land and well-tended olive groves. This varied landscape is home to many birds. You can hear many birds, such as Pirol, Girlitz, Nachtigall , Mönchsgrasmücke, Grünfink, Amsel and Türkentaube, and observing birds like Haussperling, Mehlschwalbe, Rauchschwalbe and Wiedehopf. Depending on the water level in the pond, which is fed by rain, water birds such as Bläßhuhn , Stockente and Graureiher can be spotted.

The Ermita de la Pietat is located north of the village of Ulldecona. There is a large parking lot next to the hermitage. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The parking is the starting point for the hike (2 km one way, 4 km there and back).
