Embalse Monteagudo de las Vicarias collects its waters from the Nagima River. Its area is 100 hectares. The Schwarzhalstaucher and the Kolbenente are breeding residents, and several migratory species make a stopover in the marsh. Migratory species such as the Purpurreiher, Schwarzstorch, Fischadler, Löffler and various species of ducks and waders. The surrounding area is also interesting for steppe birds like Sandflughuhn.
